Welcome to the Freescan user guide. This document is designed to help the newcomer install and navigate Freescan, which is designed to work with the Uniden DMA scanners.

Getting Started

  • Making the Connection

Download Data to Freescan

  • Download Programming
  • Import functions
    • From Freescan
    • From Uniden Advanced System Director (UASD) files
    • Import conventional data from RadioReference (paid subscription to RadioReference is required)
    • Import Trunked data from RadioReference (paid subscription to RadioReference is required)
    • Using EZ-Grab

    • Lockout all Systems/Sites
    • Unlock all Systems/Sites
    • Group Sort

Editing Data

  • Create System
