I have the AR8200 (USA "B" version) working now on one COM port using the CC8200 (the AOR 8200 computer control cable) connected from the 8200 to COM 1. It runs with no problem now in 9600 baud. I tried it in VFO mode first, but it also works in SCAN mode because it switches to VFO automatically.

Here are my environment settings:

set TRACKSLICERPIN=CTS (or DSR)
set TRACKSLICERPORT=COM1
set TRACKSLICERMODE=NORMAL
set TRACKSCAN=AR8200
set TRACKSCANPARK=162.475 (the local WX station)
set TRACKSCANBAUD=9600
set TRACKSCANPORT=COM1

Changing the baud rate to 9600 was what I think did the trick. I am using a PRO-2006 for discriminator output to the slicer.
