City of Lebanon Fire Alarm

The City of Lebanon Communications dispatches Firefighters/Paramedics, Law Enforcement Officers, and Highway Crews for the City of Lebanon only. They do however serve as the back-up for the Upper Valley Regional Communications Center. Lebanon does share the two operations channels with UVRCC and the Hartford VT Regional Communications Center which are a part of the UVRESA MOU for fire units to utilize. They are known as Operations 1 and Operations 2. Lebanon primarily uses OPS-1 when on a scene in their jurisdiction.

Lebanon started using the Peonix G2 Station Alerting System aka Samantha back in 2021 to help free up dispatch when toning out calls. However, when a call goes above a General Alarm, the SAS tones out only the city units. Following that, the dispatcher announces a First, Second, Third, or Fourth Alarm depending on the situation, and lists on the mutual aid assignments based on the run cards for the zone in which the incident has occurred.

Lebanon also provides mutual aid ambulance service to Enfield, Canaan (as needed if Canaan AMB is unavailable), Grafton (as needed), Grantham, New London (as needed if New London EMS is unavailable).

Lebanon has four fire stations, two of which are used for primary operations:

  • Station 1 (Headquarters and Administration) | South Park St - CAR 1, CAR 2, CAR 3, CAR 4, ENGINE 9, ENGINE 7, LADDER 1, RESCUE 1, AMB 1, AMB 3, UTILITY, MARINE 1, HAZMAT 1, GATOR 1, SPECIAL OPS TRAILERS.
  • Station 2 | Main St, West Lebanon - CAR 5, ENGINE 2, TRUCK 2, AMB 2.
  • Station 3 | Route 4 towards Enfield - RESERVE ENGINE, SPECIAL OPS TRAILERS.
  • Station 4 (Lebanon Municipal Airport ARFF Shed) | Airpark Rd - ARFF 1

The City of Lebanon Fire Department is dispatched on 151.23500 MHz - N379

Starting in late 2024 / early 2025, the City of Lebanon Fire Department will be rebuilding Station 1. More information on the project can be found here: Central-Fire-Station-Project
