Dispatch Procedures

  • "Dispatch" on both east on west sites are patched.
  • All radio traffic is limited to calls being dispatched and transport units advising availability.
  • "Tac 1" is the fire/EMS control channel for the east units. All east side channels are "odd numbered" (TAC 1,3,5,7,9, etc)
  • All east units switch to this channel for the duration of the call.
  • "Tac 2" is the fire/EMS control channel for the west units. All west side channels are "even numbered" (TAC 2,4,6,8,10, etc)
  • All west units switch to this channel for the duration of the call.
