Improved Multi-Band Excitation or IMBE, is a vocoder technology owned by Digital Voice Systems, Inc (DVSI).
Used by:
- Project 25 compatible systems and transceivers
- M/A-COM's ProVoice
- Motorola Astro (IMBE type, not VSELP)
