Iredell County (NC)

Iredell county uses a wide mix of communications systems. All Statesville operations are carried on a low-range P25 trunked system. All Mooresville traffic is carried on the Charlotte UASI P25 system. All sheriff traffic has migrated to VIPER. EMS is now full-time VIPER. Only the EMS dispatch traffic is simulcasted on VHF. Iredell County fire uses the Charlotte UASI system in the southern end of the county, and primarily VHF in the northern part of the county, although VIPER is also used. Fire communications are patched into VIPER.
