Notes and Instructions

When creating a new wiki page or link, name it with the City or Municipality, then a comma, then the state code, then a dash, then a description of the live scanner. Example:

San Antonio, TX -- Live Scanner in San Antonio, TX

Software

  • ARC-Eazystream software for streaming audio & scanner tags
  • Talkgroup Monitor - This program receives talkgroups and frequencies being monitored by a scanner and embeds talkgroup/channel information in an audio stream being streamed to an Icecast server or with SpacialAudio's SimpleCast encoder (to an Icecast or SHOUTcast server). This program will work with any Uniden scanner that can be computer controlled.
