Fire Service

Verdugo Fire Communications Center

  • VFCC uses the Interagency Communications Interoperability System (ICI) for communications.
    • All Dispatches are on RED 1 (Talkgroup 2101 for the P25 system, or 33616 for the legacy Smartzone system)
  • Dispatch format: Units, Call Type, Location, Cross Streets, Tac Channel.
  • Most calls will be kept on RED 1, however if there are more than 2-3 units on the call, they will be switched over to a Tactical, RED 2-8.
  • For those without digital scanners that live in the Sierra Madre, Pasadena, Arcadia, or Duarte area, you can still listen to Verdugo Dispatch on the VHF band on 154.3700.
