Revision as of 14:04, 21 December 2010

The San Antonio Urban Area Initiative Wide Area Communications Network began coming online in Central Texas in January 2010. This is suspected as the LCRA 700MHz Overlay, to complete an interoperability project between many P25 trunked radio systems throughout Texas.

On June 2, 2010, cross-band testing was being conducted between talkgroup 1001 of this system and LCRA 900MHz EDACS talkgroup 321- LCRA East Comm- on Sites 101 and 102, suspected to be in Austin and Hays County respectively. Voice traffic has also been confirmed on Sites 103 and 105 as of June 15th, 2010.

Found a site 105 using 769.95625 on the Flatonia LCRA tower. Think these 2 reported control channels are not correct for this site #-Myles

Confirmed CC site 105 769.95625 as site neighbor to 106 (Gonzales) This site is going to be east of Gonzales, probably Flatonia, Lagrange, or Hallettsville. This site is reporting to have the same CC as New Braunfels, so the other freqs could be valid
