Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) P25

The San Antonio Urban Area Initiative Wide Area Communications Network began coming online in Central Texas in January 2010. This is suspected as the LCRA 700MHz Overlay, to complete an interoperability project between many P25 trunked radio systems throughout Texas. On June 2, 2010, cross-band testing was being conducted between talkgroup 1001 of this system and LCRA 900MHz EDACS talkgroup 321- LCRA East Comm- on Sites 101 and 102, suspected to be in Austin and Hays County respectively.

SAUA TRS Questions:

1) Are the Talk Groups all encrypted P25 and thus that's why no TG's have be ID'd ?

2) It might be helpful if someone where to submit info if they know just exactly

  what SAUA is ? ... and what their mission is ? Heck do they plan BBQ parties ?

btw ~ RX of Site-7 (773.843750) the strongest near 1604 & IH10 East.

     Sys-ID and info already listed on RR is received- no TG's yet logged - hmm ?
