MOTOTRBO is a Motorola digital radio product marketed primarily to business/industrial users. The format uses Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA). A single 25.0 kHz channel is able to carry two conversations, each at 12.5 kHz per channel utilizing digital signaling.

No scanner can monitor this digital format by itself but it can be monitored with DSD.

MOTOTRBO is based on the following ETSI standards.
