  • Sterling Heights: Sterling Heights PD is broken up into 6 areas (A-F). Thats the first designater. the next number you hear is the shift 1-4, (1 mids, 2 days, 3 noons, 4 powershift). The last number is what order the officer is working in your scout car area. 1 being the first officer, 2 being the second officer working in the area. (Ex;a car work Mids in Charlie area, might be C10. a different guy working noons would be D30. They dont use C31 any longer after Mark Sawyers was killed. it was what he was working that day. all the other desiganters are used though. Also as for the 6 areas A-F. It starts with Adam area in the north east part of the city. Then under it is B, under that in the south east part of the city is C. Then it moves west to the south west area of D. Then above that is E. Then to the north west part of the city, F.
