==Marion County, Ohio==

The Ohio government authorized the creation of Marion County on February 12, 1820.
+
;Villages:
The residents named the county in honor of Revolutionary War General Francis "The Swamp Fox" Marion. It is the home of the 29th President of the United States, Warren G. Harding who was born near Blooming Grove in 1865. The Ohio Historical Society now operates his home as a museum. The county is located in north central Ohio and falls under the Marion Metropolitan Statistical Area. The county seat is the City of Marion, it is the only city in the county. There are seven villages and fifteen townships.
