Metro:

  • is an abbreviation used to reference metro-rail or light-rail services within a community or city, or on a campus of a large school or business.

  • is a term used by pilots when describing the place pilots call in for weather and landing information. Mostly a military term, as a civilian pilot might call a Flight Service Station for similar information. Meteo is a similar term.
