Law Enforcement

Sheriff Patrol Districts

*District 1: Kingman, Hualapai Valley, Yucca and all areas from Alamo Road to the eastern border of the county. *District 2: All areas west of the crest of the Black Mountains between Golden Valley and the Colorado River. These areas include the western portion of Hwy 68, all areas south to I40, Fort Mohave, Mohave Valley, Golden Shores and Oatman. *District 3: All areas of the county south of I40 along Hwy 95 to the county line at the Bill Williams River. *District 4: Golden Valley, Dolan Springs, Meadview and all points north of Kingman along Hwy 93. Currently this area is patrolled by remote assignment deputies and deputies from the District 1 patrol area. *District 5: Beaver Dam, Littlefield, Scenic and Colorado City areas. This area also includes all areas of County north of the Grand Canyon, Colorado River.


Bullhead City Police Dept.

The Bullhead City Police Department is the law enforcement agency for the city of Bullhead only, with outlying areas being served by Mohave County Sheriffs Office, DPS, Fort Mohave Tribal PD as well as BLM and NPS law enforcement in the federal areas.

The city is divided into 4 beats:

  • Beat 1: Starts at Mile Post 4 on HWY 68 (La Puerta) and goes South to Pass Canyon Rd. On HWY 95
  • Beat 2: Starts at Pass Canyon Rd and HWY 95 and extends South to the Center lane of Hancock Rd.
  • Beat 3: Starts in center of Hancock Rd and extends South to Riverview
  • Beat 4: Starts at Riverview and extends to the city limits at Sterling Rd.
  • Beat 5: Is a roving beat not assigned geographically but is a unit that will respond to calls in any area needed. This beat is not always assigned.
