Montérégie is actually an administrative region of the Province of Québec. Within Montérégie, there are three subregions each consisting of Regional County Municipalities (municipalité régionale de comté - "MRC") or equivalents:

Longueuil

An urban agglomeration equivalent to an RCM consisting of several boros as well as a subregion of Montérégie.
