NJ ANG 177th Fighter Wing

General Information

The New Jersey Air National Guard's 177th Fighter Wing is based at Atlantic City International Airport, New Jersey and has the mission to provide combat-ready citizen airmen, aircraft and equipment for worldwide deployment in support of United States Air Force objectives.

The Wing has one flying Squadron, the 119th Fighter Squadron which currently operates 15 F-16Cs and F-16Ds. As a result of the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Committee's findings, the 119th will have an endstrength of 18 F-16 aircraft.
