*457.8625 (250.3) is the Game Day Coordinator frequency according to the [http://www.sbe.org/nfl/GamedayHandbook3.pdf Gameday Frequency Coordination Procedure Manual].  Note however that a sign at Ford Field in Detroit shows the frequency as being 467.8375 (250.3) ({{Thread|general-scanning-discussion|91008-nfl-freq-coordinator.html|source|}}).  It's unknown whether 457.8625 or 467.8375 is the most current frequency, so it wouldn't hurt to put both in your scanner.  To read more about the work that NFL gameday frequency coordinators do, see the article in the November 2007 issue of ''QST'' magazine.  A January 2008 article about the NFL Frequency Coordination can be found at [http://www.networkworld.com/news/2008/012508-nfl-radio-cops.html NetworkWorld.com].

Nationwide NFL Frequencies

Reported Frequencies/PL tones

  • 457.8625 (250.3) is the Game Day Coordinator frequency according to the Gameday Frequency Coordination Procedure Manual. Note however that a sign at Ford Field in Detroit shows the frequency as being 467.8375 (250.3) (source). It's unknown whether 457.8625 or 467.8375 is the most current frequency, so it wouldn't hurt to put both in your scanner. To read more about the work that NFL gameday frequency coordinators do, see the article in the November 2007 issue of QST magazine. A January 2008 article about the NFL Frequency Coordination can be found at NetworkWorld.com.
