Newell County is a region in Alberta roughly halfway between Calgary and Medicine Hat. It is bordered by Wheatland County, Special Area 2, and Special Area 3 to the north; Vulcan County to the west; the Municipal District of Taber and Forty Mile County to the south; and Cypress County to the east.
