System Information
Once the new countywide P25 trunked radio system is completed it will be a simulcast system from 11 different sites which are located throughout Ocean County. The current locations are the following:

September 2014:
- Due to increased in severity of DTV interference on the current 500 MHz trunked system the total cost was approved by the county freeholders on September 17 with a Contract awarded to Motorola Solutions for 700 MHz Overlay.
August 2015:
- 8/17 - Control channel noted on air in site trunking mode.
September 2015:
- 9/8 - First sheriff radio repair talkgroups came online in encrypted mode.
March 2016:
- 3/4 - "CHANGEME" callsign added to the system along with data capabilities.
- 3/7 - Additional TDMA and data channels added.
