The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority maintains and operates the toll roads in Oklahoma. OTA has its own maintenance department, which uses VHF conventional repeaters for communication. OTA is partnering with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation to build a VHF PassPort LTR system for statewide communications. LTR Passport systems cannot be "trunk tracked" by any current scanner.

Law enforcement for Oklahoma Turnpikes is provided through a contract with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The OHP uses OKWIN for most communications on the Turnpike system.
