Oklahoma Turnpike Authority

The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority maintains and operates the toll roads in Oklahoma. OTA has its own maintenance department, which uses VHF convetnional repeaters for communication. OTA is partnering with The Oklahoma Department of transportation to build a VHF PassPort LTR system for statewie communication. This system cannot be monitored by any current scanner.

Law Enforcement for Oklahoma Turnpikes is provided through a contract with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol The OHP uses State of Oklahoma DPS / City of Tulsa trunked radio system. Most turnpikes have their own talkgroups on this system.
