The Omaha Regional Interoperability Network (ORION) is a multi-zone Motorola P25 CQPSK SmartZone system that operates over a wide area of southeastern Nebraska and will include Pottawattamie County, Iowa, which dispatching is slated to commence at the end of 2008. Currently, as of 11/2008, Motorola techs have been conducting tests over the Pottawattamie County towers, and it appears during testing, the new talkgroups are in the "2500" series.
