EMS RADIO CODES

  • In Onondaga County, "10" Codes are no longer used. Instead, what

were formerly 10 codes are called signals. Popular "signals" are:

  • Signal 19 - No Lights/Sirens
  • Signal 32 - Use Caution
  • Signal 50 - Officer needs assistance
  • Signal 79 - Property Damage MVA
  • Signal 80 - Personal Injury MVA
  • Signal 98 - Minor Fire
  • Signal 99 - Major Fire


ONONDAGA COUNTYWIDE COLOR CODES

  • White No lights or sirens
  • Red Life threatening
  • Scarlet Emergency during drill
  • Yellow MVA involving school bus
