Site work and towers are complete for the six new COPURS tower sites.  The other five simulcast sites are located on existing vertical real estate.  The new microwave system connecting the sites and PSAPs is still under construction.

Field coverage testing should be in early 2014.  The first public safety agencies will transition to COPURS after that testing is complete and successful.  The Emergency Telephone System Board (ETSB) anticipates most public safety agencies in Peoria County will migrate to this system during 2014.
