Richmond Police Department

Precincts & Sectors

The City of Richmond is divided into four precincts for the purposes of the Police Department. Each precinct has one Commander (with the rank of captain) and four lieutenants. One lieutenant serves as the Commander's executive officer, and the other three each are in charge of a sector.

There are three sectors per precinct, and are numbered either X11, X12, or X13 (i.e. 412 is in fourth precinct).
