Welcome to the information Wiki on the South East Arizona Radio Monitoring Scanner Club.

SEARM - South East Arizona Radio Monitoring Scanner Club

If you live in the counties of Pima, Pinal, Gila, Graham, Greenlee, Cochise and Santa Cruz County, Arizona and enjoy monitoring Public Safety, Aviation or any other type of two way radio communications then this site is for you.

Whether your a "rookie" or an old hand at this hobby you are welcomed! Even if you have nothing to contribute, come enjoy a dinner, if you'd like, while someone else shares interesting finds, new equipment or other fun knowledge.

Membership

Membership is open to anyone with an interest. Scanner is not necessary :) There are no membership fees. There is no formal hierarchy, as the club is an unofficial gathering of Scannerists, like yourself.

Meeting Date/Location/Time

The South Eastern Arizona Radio Monitoring Group meets:

  • Date: Every 3rd Saturday of the month
  • Time: 6 pm to 8 pm or 9 pm
  • Location: The Village Inn at 6635 E.Grant Road
    • Meetings are informal.
    • Be prepared to talk or hear about anything and everything.
    • All are welcome - even spouses!

Activities

From time to time, we provide those in attendance an opportunity to see, hear, or build new things that will enhance our scanner activity. In the past we've seen several software radios demonstrated. We've built J-Pole antennas, tuned to a specific bandwidth with minimal cost. Somebody will always have the newest and hottest radio to share.
