System Notes

It appears the LTR system has been taken off-line. They now use MOTOTRBO technology.

The Convention Center now has (4) XPR8300 repeaters. These are digital TDMA repeaters, which support two simultaneous conversations per channel.

They still maintain (1) MTR2000 repeater.

Rumor is that their vendor (Bearcom) uses these repeaters to also support radios that they rent to the different events.

Security Officers carry Motorola XPR6350 radios (model AAH55QDC9LA1AN, 403-470 MHz). Security Supervisors carry Motorola XPR6550 radios, which give them texting and encryption capabilities.
