System Notes

  • Monitored METNAV (Airfield Systems) maintenance doing ground checks on one of the ILS systems at Scott AFB. Used METNAV 1 and METNAV 2 callsigns.
  • As of March 2008, MedStar Ambulance Service is the provider of EMS for the 375th Airlift Wing. Scott Medical Center closed inpatient service and emergency room functions in October 2006. Military ambulance service capability also was terminated, resulting in a requirement for a contract with a civilian ambulance service company.
