Seminole County Dispatch RIDs

Seminole County Public Schools RIDs

• Bus numbers are different from route numbers; the bus number indicates the style, year, and bus ID. Route numbers rely strictly on the route, so as spare busses are issued RIDs for the routes will change, so only the bus numbers are associated with RIDs.*

• In reference to the bus number giving the year style and ID: it is broken down like this: Bus one as 80109 and bus two as 61511, the first number (in this case 8 for bus one and 6 for bus two) indicates the style of the bus: 8 = flat nose, 7 = wheel chair, 6 = slanted nose. The two numbers following indicate the year, for bus one those numbers are 01 so the bus is a 2001, for bus two it is 15 so the bus is a 2015. The last two numbers are the actual bus identifier (or how many they have) for bus one the number is 09 indicating it was the 9th bus of that year and that style that the county commissioned; for the second bus the 15 indicates that it was the 15th bus of that year and that style that the county commissioned*
