Subaudible data is data that is sent along with an analog voice transmission. The data is transmitted using voice frequencies below the range of human hearing. CTCSS and DCS are the simplest examples of subaudible data. LTR trunked radio systems also use subaudible data instead of using a dedicated control channel.
