Super Bowl is a registered trademark of the National Football League
Super Bowl XLVI will be held February 5, 2012, in Indianapolis, Indiana, at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Public Safety
The Super Bowl is a high-level national security event involving many public safety agencies at the local, state, and federal level. Primary law enforcement and fire/EMS response will be provided by the Indianapolis Metro Police Department, the Indianapolis Fire Department, and Indianapolis EMS. Those agencies are dispatched on the Indianapolis Department of Public Safety trunked radio system. Most Super Bowl related communications are on the System 1 and System 2 Tactical talkgroups.
