Templates

  1. I've been trying to work with templates -- see Template:Color as an example -- by bringing them over from Wikipedia. Looks like some of them don't work. We really need a template for military units but we could also use one for radio models.
  2. Where is the "official" RRwiki dicussion group?
  3. Extensions is spelled wrong. :-)

Instruction

The images with the blue rollover boxes are removed. They don't show up in the database anymore! Unless I'm missing something.... --Bezking (Wiki Admin) 15:17, 4 September 2007 (CDT)

Ben, you're quite right. I can't get the old ctrl/prt screen trick to copy the &^%^$$ example I was going to give you, so bear with me for a moment -

  • Bring up any conventional system. Note that to the left of each title is a blue box with a greater than symbol in it. Point to it, and a dark blue box shows up with the sid in black (horrible choice of colors- very difficult to see on a laptop)
  • Bring up any trunked system. Note that to the left of each group of talkgroups is the same symbol. Again, point to it and the category index appears in the dark blue box, with the sid in black

Well it shows up as a yellow box with black text here on my work PC. Must be some fluke in how my laptop displays the info

Thanks for the heads up. --Bezking (Wiki Admin) 07:32, 15 September 2007 (CDT)

LTR talkgroup issue

I love the RRextension capability of the wiki, but LTR talkgroups do not appear correctly on the wiki pages in their 0-01-001 format. See this link this link compared to this page

That seems like a bug, I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the heads up! --Bezking (Wiki Admin) 15:45, 14 September 2007 (CDT)
