Most Tulsa County Communication is on the OKWIN State Trunked Radio System. The City of Tulsa was one of the original owners of the system. Tulsa County has talkgroups for the Sheriff's Department, District Attorney, Health Department and Highway Maintenance.


Tulsa County Sheriff

Main Dispatch is on 800MHz, but deputies also have VHF radios (155.070MHz) which are still used for car-to-car comunicatins and backup.

  • Baker -- Day Shift Patrol
  • Charlie -- Civil Deputies (but often respond to calls)
  • David -- Transportation (incoming prisoners and mental patients)
  • Delta -- DA's Investigators
  • Edward -- Evening Shift Patrol
  • Frank -- Deputies in the FTO program
  • Henry -- Domestic Violence Task Force
  • Ida -- Internal Affairs
  • John -- Jail Units (mostly only supervisors have call signs)
  • King -- Courtroom Security (includes speciality units such as court services)
  • Lincoln -- Captains
  • Mary -- Traffic
  • Nora -- Reserved for TPD when using county freqs
  • Ocean -- Records
  • Paul -- Administrative services (training, human resources, etc.)
  • Queen -- not used
  • Robert -- Reserve Deputies (Reserve Deputy Supervisors use a 1 or 2 digit call sign */ Reserve Deputies have 3 digit call signs)
  • Sam -- Command Level Staff
  • Tom -- Jail Transportation (jail to courthouse)
  • Union -- No longer used
  • Victor -- Vo-tech units
