Tulsa County (OK)

Most Tulsa County Communication is on the OKWIN State Trunked Radio System. The City of Tulsa was one of the original owners of the system. Tulsa County has talkgroups for the Sheriff's Department, District Attorney, Health Department and Highway Maintenance.

Tulsa Police have 3 patrol divisions:

Mingo Valley Division (East) includes the northeastern section of the city and patrols the most heavily populated and traveled section of the city. UDE contains the busiest retail and entertainment corridor in Tulsa on 71st Street east of Memorial.

Tulsa Fire Department

• Knox Boxes -- Knox Boxes are key boxes in certain fire apparatus that hold master keys for certain building in that company's response area. The captain will switch to J, radio Main to have them open their knox box, Fire Main will transmit a DTMF string that unlocks the box.
