Welcome to the US Army - Rock Island Arsenal collaboration article, a military trunked radio system located in Illinois.

The activities on the island are divided between the Army Garrison which controls the Security, Fire & Engineering. Joint Manufacturing & Technology Center, 1st Army & National Cemetery are other activities. The US Army Corps of Engineering has the Rock Island District HQ and also the operation of the Lock & Dock 15.


RIAFD Notes

The Fire Dept has one station on the island and all units are dispatched from there. RIAFD is part of MABAS Division 43 which is metropolitan Rock Island County & Davenport, Bettendorf in Scott County Iowa. RIAFD's Ambulance response to calls for backup to Rock Island and Moline.
