MONOC EMS has or is in the process of switching to Sonim cellular LTE PTT network which is not 
monitorable by any scanner. Currently MONOC is dispatching on their UHF and VHF radio 
frequencies and on their new PTT network. At times you will only hear EMS dispatch and not 
mobile units' response. MONOC EMS also has 2 talkgroups on the New Jersey Interoperability 
Communications System.

Roselle Park First Aid Squad

  • Squad has been disbanded by an act of borough council due to manpower and response issues. All emergency medical services provided by Union County EMS of the Union County Division of Emergency Management utilizing the County OEM Dispatch talkgroup on the Union County Site of the New Jersey Interoperability Communications System.

Roselle Park Volunteer Fire Department

  • RPFD is dispatched by Union County Police 2400 and uses primarily plain english with the exception of the following:
    • Code 1 - 1 Qualified FF-1 On-Board
    • Code 2 - 2 Qualified FF-1 On-Board
    • Code 3 - 3 Qualified FF-1 On-Board
