Sites:
This Connect Plus system consists of two sites - 396-1 and 396-2 (both located at O'Hare Airport). Below is the channel mapping I've been able to determine so far (channels are listed in time slot 1 / time slot 2 order):

396-1:

  • 476.3375 - channels 1 & 2
  • 476.6125 - channels 3 & 4
  • 477.1625 - channels 5 & 6
  • 477.2625 - channels 7 & 8

(unable to find last four freqs / eight channels at this time, control channel data read using DSD+ software does show sixteen active channels for 396-1)

396-2:

  • 460.725 - channels 1 & 2
  • 476.5875 - channels 3 & 4
  • 477.1125 - channels 5 & 6
  • 477.2375 - channels 7 & 8
  • 460.700 - channels 9 & 10
  • 476.5375 - channels 11 & 12
  • 477.0125 - channels 13 & 14
  • 477.2125 - channels 15 & 16

Control channels rotate between channels 1,3,5 and 7 of each site every 24 hours. I have been concentrating on mapping the freqs/channels and not determining usage for talkgroups thus far. Will submit more information for this system as I get it.

FCC
Callsigns: KAX258, WPMZ678 - these licenses also cover five repeaters not found to be active from my location. Possible that they might be low power and not able to be heard from here.
