The University Of Kentucky P25 system is utilized by many agencies and entities on and off-campus. Almost all university operations take place on this system. It should be known that Lexington City departments such as Metro Police and Fire have access to this system and operate on it for interop purposes. Most talk groups are using Phase II TDMA however some talk groups operate in Phase I FDMA mode.

The University Of Kentucky P25 system is utilized by many agencies and entities on and off-campus. Almost all university operations take place on this system. It should be known that Lexington City departments such as Metro Police and Fire have access to this system and operate on it for interop purposes. Most talk groups are using Phase II TDMA however some talk groups operate in Phase I FDMA mode.
UK Wildcab is a service that is provided by UKPD and operates primarily on this system. University shuttle buses also operate on this system. Shuttle Bus operations might sound like a car to car channel however this is bus drivers talking while on their route.
Car to Car chatter has been noted on the Wilcab Dispatch when the service is not in use

UK Talkgroup Matrix

Football Games

On certain channels, officials will call for facilities dispatch. Facilities Dispatch is referring to all Concourse operations, Talkgroup 1333 is Facilities operations/Runners, Meaning If a Gate calls for Water or Chairs, Facilities Dispatch will call TG 1333 for a Delivery. A recent update to radios and some channel names might have changed meaning operations might have moved to another channel or alternativly channel names have completely changed.
