From a public safety standpoint, Jefferson County is divided into Divisions 1, 2 and 3. These divisions roughly divide the northern, central and southern thirds of the county. There are countywide agencies such as Jefferson CO SO and JCOM as well.
Agencies and the 911 System TRS
In the county, all Police, Fire and EMS as well as some other agencies have station numbers associated with their agency. (Example: Station 41). The station numbers appear to range from 0 to 99 with some of them not yet documented or not yet used.
