Warren County, Ohio

Warren County is located in southwestern Ohio and is included in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Statistical Area. It was formed from Hamilton County on May 1, 1803. It gets its name from Dr, Joseph Warren, a Revolutionary War hero who died during the Battle of Bunker Hill.

There are seventeen cities and villages and eleven townships in the county. Lebanon is the county seat.

Ohio State Highway Patrol

Warren County is served by OSP Post 83 Lebanon, located at 184 Nelson Road. In addition to Warren County they cover parts of I-71 in Hamilton County and I-75 from Exit 22 (Tylersville Road) to the Warren-Montgomery County line (mp 42). All communications use the Ohio MARCS statewide system.

Caesar Creek State Park

Caesar Creek State Park is a 7,941 acre state park located 5 miles east of Waynesville that features the 2,830 acre Caesar Creek Lake. It is a popular recreation spot in the area. The lake itself is leased from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers who maintain the lake. The park is maintained by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) and falls under ODNR Region 4. It is patrolled by ODNR Park Rangers from the Caesar Creek State Park Office. All official park communications are on the Ohio MARCS statewide system, rangers also have access to the Warren County TRS. Other VIP (Camp ground overseers) and campers can be heard using FRS radios throughout the summer camping season.
