Coverage Areas

Washington County Sheriff Deputies patrol units (SAM) are separated into three districts:

  • North (Dewey, Copan, Copan Lake)
  • Central (Bartlesville area)
  • South (Ochelata, Oglesby, Ramona, Vera)

Sam 01 is the sheriff

Sam 02 is the undersheriff

Ramona Units are 110x

Dewey Police is also dispatched by WCSO.

Dewey Police unit numbers are 90x.

Repeaters

There are three sites to the WCSO repeater system. (WQCS491)

The system is a three site voting system with links on UHF back to the main voter at Central.

Washington County Emergency Management & Fire

Washington County Emergency Management & Fire is a volunteer mutual aid department and will respond for mutual aid in and around the county.

Bartlesville Ambulance Service

Bartlesville Ambulance Service is a private EMS & medical transport service.

They respond to most areas in Washington County and outside the county as requested.

(The exception is the Vera area which is covered by Collinsville EMS)

Apparatus

9 full sized ALS units.

1 mid sized ALS units. (Based on the Sprinter van chassis. Primarily used for medical transfers to Tulsa.)

2 wheel chair capable vans for local wheel chair bound patients. (E.g. to and from Dr. appointments or dialysis.)
