1 = Day Shift 2 = Second Shift 3 = Third Shift 4 = Swing Shift/Special Detail 5 = Non Sworn - CSO/Reserve 6 = Investigators/Detectives

• All units use the South Dispatch TG from 0300 to 1100. TGs are "split" to North and South at 1100. The North TG is referred to as "Channel 7" and the South TG is referred to as "Channel 1".

• Anoka County Sheriff's Office is contracted as the primary law enforcement agency for the cities of Andover, Bethel, Columbus, East Bethel, Ham Lake, Linwood, Nowthen, and Oak Grove.

Others are usually (not always) the same as first digit.

Area of Patrol

9 = Canine Unit

ATL = Attempt to Locate

DK = Intoxicated Party

DOA = Dead on Arrival

GOA = Gone on Arrival

UTL = Unable to Locate

• North Metro Chemical Assessment Team (CAT) has members from several FDs, based out of SBM Station #3.
• North Metro Specialized Rescue Team (SRT) has members from several FDs, based out of Coon Rapids Station #1.
• MN DNR has a wildfire base at the Carlos Avery Wildlife Management Area in Columbus and often has a CL-215 air tanker stationed at the Anoka County Airport in Blaine.

[edit] Anoka County Emergency Medical Services

• Allina Medical Transportation serves the cities of Andover, Anoka, Bethel, Blaine, Circle Pines, Columbia Heights, Coon Rapids, East Bethel, Fridley, Ham Lake, Lexington, Nowthen, Oak Grove, Ramsey, Spring Lake Park, and St. Francis.

• North Memorial Ambulance Service serves the cities of Centerville, Columbus, Lino Lakes, and Linwood.

• Columbia Heights Fire holds a BLS license, but Allina EMS provides transports.

• Life Link III has a medical helicopter (Life Link 4) based out of the Anoka County Airport in Blaine.

• North Memorial Air Care also provides medical helicopter service to the area as needed.
