Fire Dispatching
New Lebanon and Farmersville Fire Departments are dispatched by the Englewood Fire Department on the frequency of 151.385. Brookville, Phillipsburg, Germantown, Riverside, Harrison Township, Jefferson Township, Clayton, and Trotwood Fire Departments are now dispatched by Montgomery County Sheriff's Office on TGID 13232. County radio repair has been pushing the issue to get all paging converted over to 154.130 for all of these agencies which is a full time simulcast of 13232 DISPATCH AUDIO ONLY. No fire or ems crews will be heard there, but the dispatcher will come through to VHF. 151.385 will remain active for Farmersville and New Lebanon but not linked to Montgomery County Fire (tg 13232).
The only fire departments in Montgomery County remaining on VHF are Farmersville and New Lebanon. All others (while using a vhf frequency for tones) are on 800 MHz. Most do not even operate VHF repeaters anymore, just a simplex simulcasts for tones and dispatch audio, although some are simulcast of both dispatch and crews.
The City of Miamisburg and Miami Township have consolidated their fire departments into the new 'Miami Valley Fire District'.
