Introduction
Citizens Band, or CB, is a low-power (maximum 4 W AM or FM or 12 W PEP SSB), unlicensed personal radio service regulated under Part 95 of the FCC rules.
The CB service is mainly used by professional over the road truck drivers for comunications purposes such as road and travel conditions, along with directions/instructions and road to warehouse communications.

- Channels 16 and 36-40 cannot be received by a scanner when using SSB. A communications receiver such as a R-75 or R-7000 is required to demodulate these signals
