General Information
The West Virginia Air National Guard's 167th Airlift Wing is assigned the C-17A Globemaster III. The 167th AW will be equipped with eight C-17A aircraft when fully transitioned from C-5A's.
Current as of April 2015, the 167th has C-17's:

- 94-0069
- 94-0070
- 00-0181
- 00-0182
- 01-0196
The 167th based at Martinsburg is to re-equip in 2014. The C-5's currently assigned to it will be replaced by eight C-17's. This change was announced on 2/3/2012.
The unit received their first C-17 on 9/25/2014, tail number 94-0070, which used the callsign Elvis 53 on the flight from it's former base in Memphis to Martinsburg.
