TK-270 = VHF
TK-370 = UHF
There are 2 different versions of this radio. The older one is called simply the TK-270/TK-370. The newer one is the TK-270G/TK-370G.
TK-270/TK-370 (Older version)
This radio is no longer produced by Kenwood.
TK-270G/TK-370G (Newer version)
Programming
These radios can be programmed via the keypad. However, this option must be enabled through the software, and must have a component removed from the circuit board. If you have a radio that will not go into self-programming mode when you use the proper key combination (light button+dial button while turning the radio on), your radio has not been enabled for this option.
