In addition to each station having their own VHF repeater, stations can also operate with each other and their dispatching provider through the Nova Scotia Integrated Mobile Radio System fire repeater located at Oban (and possibly other repeaters), the Maritime Public Safety Radio Network (MPSRN) "east" talkgroups, and the provincial mutual aid VHF simplex frequency 153.83
