Roanoke County Fire Stations
Roanoke County Fire and Rescue's 12 stations are located across the county and are strategically placed to serve its citizens. Most stations have a 12-hour career shift from 6:00 to 18:00 Monday through Friday, with volunteers serving all other times and on most holidays.

Station 1 is a full time career staffed station.

Company 2/Rescue 2 - Vinton
Company 2 and Rescue 2 are separated into their own buildings. Vinton's stations are co-owned by Roanoke County and the town of Vinton. They are located in the town of Vinton, but they receive some apparatus and their number by Roanoke County. Vinton is dispatched to calls by both jurisdictions. One ambulance is career staffed full time by Roanoke County Fire & Rescue and the town of Vinton.
