UNIT NUMBERS
Unit numbers consist of Troop, District, then Unit number. ex G250=Troop G District 2 Unit 50.
- xx11=District Sgt
- xx2x=Line Sgt
- x9xx=Motor Carrier Units
- Vxxx=Viper Techs
- Zxxx=Aircraft
- units without a letter are higher level officers(Captains, etc.)
- Unit 1=Governor
NCSHP Low Band VHF District/Channel Layout
NC State Patrol Frequencies
On Low Band VHF, NC SHP cars and base stations transmit on different frequencies. The base stations transmit on the even channels, car-to-base is on the odd channels and car-to-car is on even.
